Kristen Bell talking about how Anna is different from other Disney princesses
No but this is v important because Anna would be completely different if it weren’t for this woman right here. Originally written very girlish and princess-like, it wasn’t until KBell pushed for “something weirder. Something different. Something more unique and unlike anything we’d seen before” that Anna came to be the modern, more relatable “anti-princess princess” as Bell calls her. “I wanted her to talk faster than she thinks, to be clumsy rather than graceful and to have an adventerous spirit,” she said. “I wanted her to be someone who I would identify with when I was a little girl.”

A selection of Backgrounds from the Steven Universe episode: "Giant Woman"
Art Direction: Kevin Dart

These were, I think, the set of backgrounds where I felt like I finally hit my stride. It’s also one of my favorite episodes.
In death, I will love you forever. Your father, Thomas.
